2026 EXPRESS SPRING HOCKEY
The Coquitlam Express Junior A Hockey Club will be overseeing six Spring Hockey Teams in the Lower Mainland; these teams are coached by Coquitlam Express Head Coach Jeff Wagner, Associate Coach Lee Stone, Academy Coaches Matt Benson, Derek Doucette, Josh Dias and Jade Ridgewell.

Express - Spring Program
Teams in the the Coquitlam HC – Spring Program compete in the BC Spring Hockey League (BCSHL).
The BCSHL is organized by BC Junior A teams to give top players in their region the opportunity to develop their skills in front of coaches and scouts from various levels of hockey. The league is cooperative league based on current teams in the Junior A structure in BC.
- April 15 to June 30
- 12 Games plus final Championship weekend
- 20 one-hour team practices
- 10 one-hour off-ice training sessions
- Weekly Video Session
- Team polo shirt, workout shirt and workout shorts
- Game Jersey and Socks
- Seminars by Education Advisors from NCAA, and seminars from a Mental Health Coach
- Access to one-on-one meetings with Express Coaching Staff & General Manager
- Plus, more
This program has been created to give players an opportunity to work on making it to the next level and being able to work with the Coquitlam Express Organization.
Program Fees: $3,000 + GST
The cost of the program is $3,000 which would cover everything above. If the teams decide to travel together (bus, hotel,
etc.) this cost would be added and approved by parents.
